Dr. Hon-Kit Lui is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oceanography, National Sun Yat-sen University. He earned his PhD degree in 2013, and was elected the honorary member of the Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society of Taiwan in the same year. Professor Lui is a chemical oceanographer whose specialty is on the ocean acidification, biogeochemistry, carbonate chemistry, marine pollution and global change. Professor Lui teaches or co-teaches Advanced Marine Chemistry, Marine Pollution, Descriptive Chemical Oceanography, Introduction to Global Environmental Change, Introduction to Environmental Science…etc.
Largely due to his contribution to the study of ocean acidification, Professor Lui received the Honorable Mention of Innovative Young Scholars from Taiwan Comprehensive University System in 2015, Research Award for Postdoctoral Fellows from the Ministry of Science and Technology of Taiwan in 2016. He served Taiwan Ocean Research Institute, National Applied Research Laboratories between 2016/8 and 2019/2 as an Assistant Researcher (2016/8-2017/12) and Associate Researcher (2018/1-2019/2). Since he was in the Taiwan Ocean Research Institute, he has been actively promoting popular science by giving talks about global environmental change. Professor Lui received the Outstanding Contributions in Science and Technology Award from the National Applied Research Laboratories in 2018. In 2019, he received the 5th Ocean Research Award from the Oceanographic Society of the Republic of China. Starting from 2022/10, Dr. Lui has been the national representative of Taiwan in the Surface Ocean - Lower Atmosphere Study (SOLAS).
雷漢杰博士為國立中山大學海洋科學系的助理教授，他於2013年獲得博士學位，並於同年當選「中華民國斐陶斐榮譽學會」榮譽會員。雷教授是一位海洋化學家，專長於海洋酸化、生物地球化學、碳化學、海洋污染以及全球變遷…等相關研究。雷教授開授或合授高等海洋化學，海洋污染，描述性化學海洋學，全球環境變遷導論，環境科學導論…等課程。
基於雷教授對海洋酸化研究的貢獻，他於2015年獲得台灣綜合大學系統「年輕學者創新研究選拔」佳作獎，並於2016年獲得「科技部博士後研究學術著作獎」。他於2016/8-2019/1年間服務於國家實驗研究院台灣海洋科技研究中心，擔任助理研究員（2016/8-2017/12）以及副研究員（2018/1-2019/1）。自於國研院，雷教授積極參與科普活動，以全球環境變遷為演講主題，推廣大眾科學。雷教授於2018年，獲頒「第12屆國家實驗研究院傑出科技貢獻獎」，於2019年獲頒第5屆「海洋薪傳獎」，於2022/10開始為國際「表層海洋-低層大氣研究 (SOLAS)」的台灣代表。
